Continuing Education

We see the value of and place importance on continuing education. It doesn’t matter how long a person has been grooming if they don’t prioritize continuing their education. We like to keep up to date on what’s best for our furry friends and how we can apply beneficial changes in ourselves and the shop.

Pet Behavior

Natasha has worked with dogs and other animals all her life. She has worked with and learned from several behaviorists and trainers and so has enhanced knowledge on dog behavior and body language. This knowledge is utilized to help alter and reframe the grooming experience into positive and affirming sessions.

Fun and Practical Hairstyles

We love working with pet parents and their pets to customize a style best suited for their lifestyles. Whether that be something fun and floofy, or sporty and practical — we’ve got you covered!

Specialties

While we’re happy to work with all pet friends our main specialties focus on the following:

Anxious/Nervous/Blacklisted dogs, Doodles, Large breeds (including those such as GSDs, Livestock Dogs, Akitas, etc), curated hairstyles.

Client Education

We believe that pet owners always mean well, and we take a non-judgmental approach to client education. We like to work with our clients to find a routine and haircut that works for each individual. We are always happy to take the time to answer questions and show how to best care for your pet’s specific hair or coat type.

Enrichment

When your pet visits Gingerly Groomed we don’t simply put them straight in the tub or in a kennel. We like to let them explore, use their nose, and take in their environment. We find that this is one aspect that helps make the experience more enjoyable for everyone and eventually pets even begin to get excited for drop off! We apply a number of tools and techniques to make the entire process more beneficial and enriching for your pet.
